Noise Certificate Issuance Request

This service is provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to Businesses and Governmental Entities requesting to issue a noise certificate for any registered aircraft.

  • Financial Information:
The certificate will be issued only if all payments are made.

   Required Documents

  1. Letter addressed to the Director of Aeronautical Licensing
  2. Application form for Noise Certificate
  3. Records of the noise levels of the aircraft
  4. Each application should include with regards to the new aircraft:
  1. A statement, signed by the exporting authority that the aircraft  conforms to a design approved by the BCAA
  2. The noise information determined in accordance with the noise certificate applicable requirements
  1.    With regard to used aircrafts:
  1. The noise information determined in accordance with the noise certificate applicable requirements
  2. Historical records to establish the production, modification, and maintenance standard of the aircraft

   Important notes

  • Readiness:

A noise certificate will be issued for an unlimited duration and will remain valid if it was:

  • Compliant with the applicable type-design, environmental protection and continuing airworthiness requirements
  • The aircraft remains on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s register
  • The certificate is not being surrendered or revoked
  • Others:
The statements referred in the documents subparagraph (4) (i) and (ii) shall be issued no more than 60 days before presentation of the aircraft to the Authority
