Social Welfare and Community

Bahrain puts a strong emphasis on social support and community welfare; and believes that everyone deserves to live a safe and dignified life, and therefore, pays special attention to various segments of society to ensure that they are able to lead peaceful and fulfilling lives in line with the United Nations Sustainable Government Goals (SDGs) and the Kingdom’s constitution which guarantees social security for Bahraini citizens to ensure a decent standard of living, housing, employment, and social welfare. These aspects are pillars of the Government Plan (Arabic only) and the National Development Strategy 2030, overseen by the Cabinet. Inclusiveness and leaving no one behind are infused in every aspect of government service delivery.
