Construction, strategic structural plan, and regulatory requirements for real estate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Kingdom of Bahrain places great importance on implementing the general policy of urban planning and sustainable urban development and prepares detailed and structural plans in various regions of the Kingdom. It Is also responsible for realising the strategies of the National Strategic Structure Plan 2030, which aims to achieve integrated urban development and is also working on the preparation and implementation of a national plan to regulate the real estate sector. Furthermore, the collection, analysis, and statistics of data and information related to the real estate sector are carried out.

With the accelerated pace of progress and the development of service levels, the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA) has launched the  Urban Planning Services Portal "Planning" which is the system responsible for various planning services for all projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

To provide comprehensive and accurate information reflecting the real estate sector's actual situation in the Kingdom, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority has launched the National Real Estate DataBank (Aqari). It is a national electronic system that serves as the primary source of real estate information in Bahrain, based on standardized criteria for classifying real estate information and facilitating its exchange, integration, and consistency. It aims to enhance the investment environment for real estate projects, improve the efficiency of real estate practitioners, encourage real estate investment, and foster investor confidence.
