Islamic Affairs

Islamic affairs have managed to reach various segments of the society throughout the Kingdom through their discourse and program which contribute to creating an atmosphere of brotherhood and affection among the various sectors of the people.

Through discussions and programs, The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and waqf, creates an atmosphere of social bonding, reaching different segments of society and institutions.

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf seeks to preserve the rights, freedoms, and public and private funds in accordance with the constitution and the law through an independent, effective and specialized judicial body, and a sophisticated and efficient legal and administrative apparatus.

The ministry also works on teaching the Holy Quran and the Sharia, promoting moderate Islamic culture and civilized dialogue, collecting and distributing zakat and donations to those who are in need, serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, building and financing mosques, and introducing Islam to visitors and residents in the Kingdom.

In keeping with social and technological developments, the ministry provides many of its services through the National Portal bahrain.bh, including Hajj services, Umrah services, Hajj services for contractors, Public Prosecution services, payment of criminal orders, licensing and agency services, enforcement services, notification services and advertisements in publication, court and cases services and Islamiyat mobile app, Holy Quran Affairs, Zakat and donations, adhan, and prayers, among others.
