Application for Undergraduate Programs Service
This service allows government school students who are graduating or expected to graduate from public high schools to apply for University of Bahrain programs. There are two methods of application according to the target group, graduates of the current and previous academic years, as follows: First: Target Groups via (IGA): Bahraini and non-Bahraini graduates of government schools from within the Kingdom of Bahrain. Second: Target groups via (SIS): 1. Bahraini and non-Bahraini graduates of private schools from schools inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. 2. Bahraini and non-Bahraini graduates of schools outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. 3. Students from Nasser Centre for Science and Technology.
Service Conditions
- Holds a high school diploma (from within or outside the Kingdom of Bahrain) with a minimum average of 70%, or a minimum of 66.66% for applicants with disabilities, provided that the disability is documented by an approved official certificate.
- Meet the required high school track, whether the applicant graduated from a public or private school within or outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- The applicant’s high school graduation should not be more than two years prior to the application year (i.e., the graduation year and the year immediately following).
- Must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree from the University or any another university.
- Pay the university application fee.
- Be eligible to study in the language in which the academic program is offered.
- Submit a health fitness certificate from one of the accredited centers or hospitals in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as required by the nature of the program.
- Be of good conduct and behavior.
- Successfully complete the orientation program or be officially exempted based on the criteria outlined in the related policy and in the Study and Examination Regulations.
- Pass any tests or interviews required by the college, according to the specific admission criteria, in certain programs.
- Must not have been dismissed from the University for disciplinary or academic reasons.
- Fulfill any other conditions set by the relevant authorities.

Service Processes
- First: Submitting via (The National Portal):
- Log in to the national portal Bahrain.bh
- Search for “University of Bahrain Services”.
- Select “e-Admission Service” , enter the personal number, the expiry date of the ID and the block number. Note: The address (block number must be correct) and the identity card must be valid.
- Please attach a colored photograph.
- Please add your contact numbers and email.
- Please add the academic programs you wish to enroll in at the University (12 choices or according to the choices available based on the secondary school track), priority in admission will be competitive according to the student’s High school average and according to the available seats offered by colleges and academic departments.
- Pay the fees (non-refundable 10 BD).
- Pay the application Fee: non-refundable BD 10. University ID will appear on the receipt.
- Application details and documents can be updated during the application period.
- Secondly: Submitting via (SIS):
- Log in to the Student Information System sis.uob.edu.bh.
- Select “UOB Admission Requests”.
- Select “Apply for Admission for Undergraduate Programs”.
- Review the terms and conditions and click “ I Agree” to continue the application process.
- Enter Personal Information in the “Basic Data” tab, then click Next.
- Enter the secondary certificate information in the “Secondary School Qualification” tab, then click Next.
- Enter the contact data in the “Contact Data” tab, then click Next.
- Select desired preferences in the “Applicant Preference” tab (Preferences appears according to your high school track), then click Next.
- Upload required documents.
- Pay application fees: non-refundable BD 10.
- The University ID will appear on the receipt.
- Application details and documents can be updated during the application period.
- You can add or modify uploaded documents, as well as update your preferences, before the admission decision is issued by following the steps below:
- Login to the Student Information System sis.uob.edu.bh.
- Select “UOB Admission Requests”.
- Select “Post-Application Services”.
- Enter the username (University ID number), Enter the password created when submitting the application (Note: You can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link and following the standard steps to reset it.)
- After successfully logging in, applicants can update their information during the application period, or modify their data and upload the required documents after the results are announced and confirmed, through the links available on the application screen listed below:
- Update Application Information and Preferences.
- Modify Uploaded Documents.
