Adding a discipline to the Engineering Office License
This service allows engineering offices to apply to add a new division to the engineering office license.
Service Conditions
- Bahraini Offices Can add disciplines as per the conditions stipulated in based on clause (5) of annex (2) of the Executive Regulations, as follows: Offices owned by Architects or Civil Engineers may add any discipline they wish. Offices owned by engineers specialized in other disciplines are not permitted to add civil Engineering and/or Architecture.
- Foreign engineering offices may add disciplines they have been practicing outside the Kingdom of Bahrain for more than 15 years, provided they can demonstrate at least 20 project in their home country and 10 projects outside, as per annex (2-3) of the Executive Regulation.
- The engineering office must license engineers in the discipline it wishes to add, in accordance with the provisions of the Executive Regulations. The number of engineers required to be licensed depends on the type and category of the office, as specified in appendices (2-1), (2-2), or (2-3) of the executive regulations.
Required Attachments
- A letter requesting the discipline to add to the engineering office license.
- Engineers must be licensed before adding the discipline, as they will be licensed in the same discipline as support engineers.

Service Processes
- The applicant shall book an appointment via Skiplino App.
- Upon arrival, the applicant will be directed to the Engineering Office Applications Receiving Team to verify that all submitted documents are complete.
- The council evaluates the request for adding discipline to the Engineering Office and that the requirements are satisfied, and if so then the system sends the statement of fees via email.
- The applicant pays the fees for adding discipline to the engineering office after booking a new appointment via the Skiplino app.
- A copy of the Engineering Office License and the engineers’ licenses, along with the payment receipt, is sent via email.
- Submission is allowed only by the authorized contact person designated by the entity.
- Key Contact Person can login to the Portal if he has the login credentials.
- If Login Credentials are not there, system will direct him to fill in the registration form and submit.
- CRPEP will review the registration request and provide login credentials to the Key Contact Person via Email along with guidelines to use the portal.
- All procedures are carried out electronically, including submitting a request to add discipline, paying fees, as well as issuing receipts and licenses.
