Engineering Office License Renewal
This service allows Engineering Offices to apply for Renewal of the engineering office license and the engineers' Licenses working in the office.
Service Conditions
- The Engineering office must be licensed by the Council.
- The license of the engineering office must be valid or no more than (30) days past its expiry date.
- In case there is a delay in the submission of a renewal application without an excuse to be considered by the Council, an additional fee of BD10 shall be imposed for each day of delay with a maximum of 30 days, and after the lapse of such period the license shall be cancelled from the Register and the licensee shall be notified pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Implementing Regulation. In such case, the re-registration may not be possible except with a new application.
- The office’s commercial registration must be valid.
- The Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy (PII) must be valid and comply with the requirements stipulated in the Executive Regulations of the Law of Regulating the Practice of Engineering professions for each Category (Except for offices that are not required to have a PII).
- The Office must fulfill the number of Engineers for the main engineering discipline and additional disciplines according to Annex (2) of the Executive Regulation issued by Ministerial Order No. (27) for 2023.
- The engineering office must meet the licensing requirements stipulated in Law No. (51) of 2014 with respect to regulating the practice of engineering professions and its executive regulations.
- The application will not be accepted unless all of the renewal requirements are satisfied.
Required Attachments
- Letter requesting to renew the Engineering Office’s license along with the disciplines to be renewed.
- Engineers list in the Engineering Office (Name, CPR No. and License No.).
- Copy of a valid Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) in accordance with Annex (3) of the Executive Regulation.

Engineering Offices' License Renewal Fees:
- 300 : Renewal of license for Bahraini Engineering office Category (A) per discipline
- 200 : Renewal of license for Bahraini Engineering office Category (B) per discipline
- 100 : Renewal of license for Bahraini Engineering office Category (C) per discipline
- 2000 : Renewal of license for an Engineering office Category (D) or (E) per discipline
- 500 : Renewal of license for Engineering office Category (F) per discipline
- 300 : Renewal of license for Engineering office Category (K) per discipline
- 1000 : Renewal of license for Foreign Branch Engineering Office Category (A) per discipline
- 500 : Renewal of license for Foreign Branch Engineering Office Category (B) per discipline
Engineer's License Renewal Fees:
- 50 : Engineer’s License Annual Renewal Category (A), (B) or (C) per Engineer
- 20 : Engineer’s License Annual Renewal Category (D) per Engineer

The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions
Service Processes
- Submission is allowed only by the authorized contact person designated by the entity.
- Key Contact Person can login to the Portal if he has the login credentials.
- If Login Credentials are not there, system will direct him to fill in the registration form and submit.
- CRPEP will review the registration request and provide login credentials to the Key Contact Person via Email along with guidelines to use the portal.
- The authorized person submits an application to renew the office license and engineers' licenses and submit the required documents via the online Licensee Portal.
- The council reviews the renewal request and informs the office of any missing documents via email, along with a statement of fees.
- The authorized person pays the renewal fees using a debit or credit card via the Licensee Portal.
- A copy of the Engineering Office License and the engineers’ licenses, along with the payment receipt, is sent via email.
