Further review of engineer’s license application

This service allows applicants for licensing to request a re-evaluation of their status and to submit an appeal concerning the Council’s decision on licensing them.

Service Conditions

  • A further review request must be submitted within 60 days of the date of the Council’s decision concerning the engineer’s licensing.
  • The engineer is required to provide supporting documents that justify the reasons for the appeal.
  • The fee for submitting a re-evaluation request is 15 BHD.

Required Attachments

  • Application form for Engineer’s license.
  • A further review request letter outlining the reasons for submitting the request.
  • A copy of the Council’s letter or decision previously issued regarding the applicant.
  • Documents supporting the engineer’s request.

Service Processes

  • Submission is allowed only by the authorized contact person designated by the entity.
  • The authorized contact person can access the portal if they have the login credentials.
  • If login credentials are not available, the system will direct them to complete and submit the registration form.
  • The Council cancels the previous application, and the company submits a new application for the engineer after providing the required documents and referencing the previous application.
  • The Council reviews the evaluation of the engineer’s license application and sends a letter to the applicant regarding the Council’s new decision, along with the statement of fees (if any).
  • The applicant pays the fees through the Licensed Professionals Portal, and a payment receipt along with a copy of the license is issued. A copy is also sent to them via email.
