Evaluation of Chemicals and Refrigerants for licensing, import and use
This service enables companies operating in the trade sector to submit requests for the import of chemicals and cooling materials for the purpose of importing, selling, and trading them in the local market. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- A duly completed application form
- Material safety data sheet (MSDS) containing 100% of chemical composition
- Valid company CR copy with appropriate chemical activity.
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Resolution No. 7 of 2002 regarding the control of the import and use of prohibited and severely restricted chemicals
- Ministerial Resolution No. 4 of 2006 regarding the management of hazardous chemicals
- Ministerial Resolution No. 1 of 2020 regarding the management of refrigeration media, refrigeration units and air conditioning units
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
