No objection to importing non-hazardous waste to the Kingdom of Bahrain
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request to ensure compliance with international obligations related to the mechanisms and regulations for importing all types of waste across borders and to guarantee adherence to international requirements. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- Clear color photographs of the waste
Legal Regulations
- Resolution No. (4) of 2005 regarding the management of used oils
- Resolution No. (3) of 2020 regarding the management of hazardous waste for health care
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Ministerial Resolution No. (11) of 2019 regarding the issuance of technical regulations for plastic products by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism.
Process Time
- 22 Working days : The completion of this service is conditional upon the submission of all required data and documents
