Maintenance Request for Government Building

It is a service provided by the Building Maintenance Directorate at the Ministry of Works, through which the Ministry seeks to provide the best services with sufficient speed and quality required, as this service is designed to facilitate the mechanism for submitting maintenance requests by representatives / specialists in ministries and government entities. Ministries and government entities which the maintenance work of their owned buildings fall under the responsibility of the Building Maintenance Directorate in Ministry of Works can take advantage of this service to send and follow up the maintenance requests.

Service Conditions

  • Governmental buildings owned by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and belonging to government entities registered under the umbrella of the Building Maintenance Department, according to the prior agreement with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy and included in the maintenance lists

Service Processes

  • Applicant: Filling the maintenance work request information and send it to Ministry of Works along with the required documents and information through E-Service.
  • Ministry of Works: Receive the maintenance work requests.
  • Ministry of Works: Review the application to ensure that the requested work is within the scope of the Ministry.
  • In case the request was out of the maintenance scope, an official rejection reply will be sent stating the rejection reasons.
  • Ministry of Works: If the application is not clear or the required and supporting documents are not attached, coordination will be made with the applicant to send the required information or documents.
  • Ministry of Works: After completing the request review process, the request is classified into emergency, urgent or regular, accordingly the site to be visited by the concerned section then the applicant is informed of the date of maintenance work
