Approve/renew for hazardous Waste Transporter License

This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request for a license to establish a monitoring and control system for the transport of hazardous waste, ensuring its proper management and preventing environmentally unsafe disposal at unlicensed or unauthorized sites, in compliance with the environmental standards and regulations. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.

Service Conditions

  • Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Attachments

  • A duly completed application form
  • A valid copy of the commercial registration CR
  • Signed and stamped terms and conditions.
  • Company’s environmental management plan and emergencies management plan
  • Waste movement annual report.
  • Transportation workers/driver’s supervisor cv.
  • Clear map and clear photos of the parking area
  • Complete form related to each vehicle, including: a. Clear photos of each vehicle from all sides, with a hazardous waste Sticker b. Clear photos of the ownership and insurance c. Clear copies of the driver’s id cards and their driving licenses
  • Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures

Legal Regulations

  • Resolution No. (4) of 2005 regarding the management of used oils
  • Resolution No. (3) of 2020 regarding the management of hazardous waste for health care
  • Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
  • Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it

  • 50 BHD : for each vehicle
