Evaluation of Refrigeration and Air conditioning Units for licensing, import and use
This service allows the companies working in the trade sector, to submit requests for importing cooling units and equipment’s for the purpose of importing, selling and trading in the local market. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- A duly completed application form
- A valid copy of the commercial registration CR
- Equipment catalogue
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Resolution No. 1 of 2020 regarding the management of refrigeration media, refrigeration units and air conditioning units
- Order No. (2) of 2020 determining the categories of fees for licensing refrigeration media, refrigeration units and air conditioning units as decided by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
