Dewatering to the Surface Water Network
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request to review the results of water analysis from excavation works intended for discharge into the surface water network, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations prior to discharge. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- A valid copy of the commercial registration CR of the contractor responsible for the construction works, issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
- Map of Discharge Location.
- Map of Excavation Location.
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- Ministerial Order No. 1 of 1998 regarding the environmental assessment of projects
- Ministerial Resolution No. (3) of 2021 regarding environmental standards for water.
- Administrative Decision No. (11) of Year 2022 regarding the procedures to implement Order No. (3) of Year 2021 concerning the environmental standards for water.
