Fuel station licensing

This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request for environmental impact assessment, to identify the potential effects of fuel stations on the surrounding environment, and to obtain the necessary permits for these projects, ensuring their operations are conducted in accordance with environmental protection requirements and the preservation of natural resources. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.

Service Conditions

  • Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Attachments

  • A duly completed application form EA-3
  • \A valid copy of the commercial registration CR
  • Clear photographs of the site (interior and exterior), taken from multiple angles, showing the surrounding activities relative to the work site
  • Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures

Legal Regulations

  • Ministerial Order No. 1 of 1998 regarding the environmental assessment of projects
  • Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
  • Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment

  • 30 BD : Initial Assessment
  • 200 BD : Initial Assessment - fast-track
  • 100 BD : - Study Scope Phase
  • 500 BD : Study Scope Phase- Fast Truck Application
  • 4000 BD : Environmental Impact Assessment Phase
  • 6000 BD : Environmental Impact Assessment Phase - Fast Truck

Process Time

  • 10 Working days : The completion of this service is conditional upon the submission of all required data and documents, Except for projects subject to the preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Study.
