Approval/Renew the approval of Oil Spills Response Plans
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request for the review and approval or renewal of Tier 1 oil spill contingency plans for coastal facilities and establishments, aiming to enhance preparedness and ensure an effective response to oil spill incidents. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- Oil Spill Response Plan
- Oil Spills Response Form
- A valid copy of the commercial registration CR
- Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- National Plan to combat pollution of the sea by oil and other noxious and hazardous substances
