Business Franchising Program
This program supports enterprises with comprehensive guidance and resources to enable them to successfully enter new markets through franchising. Franchising allows businesses to scale their national presence and access international markets while limiting the associated costs and risks of overseas expansion. This program is provided in partnership with iFranchise Group, a leading franchise consultancy firm that has worked with top-ranked companies in the world since its establishment in 2006.
Service Conditions
- Bahrain-based enterprises with an active CR/license
- The enterprise has its head office located in Bahrain
- Enterprise must not have violations from Tamkeen or LMRA
- Enterprise must not have the activity of a Holding Company as the only activity
- The enterprise has a franchisable concept
- Existing enterprises that have already franchised or have franchising documentation ready and are looking to expand into new markets (Track 2 only)
Required Attachments
- Pictures of the current Business setup (a minimum of 1 picture)
- Identity card
- CR/License
- Intellectual Property registration certificate
- Latest 2 years audited financials
- Article of association (optional)
- Bahrainization Certificate
- Electricity & Water Bill
- Management accounts
- Main business bank account statement up to 6 months
- Organizational chart (optional)
- Lease agreement (optional)
