Issuance of Various Certificates
Issuance of various traffic certificates with the ability to verify their authenticity electronically: • Clearance Certificate • Vehicle Ownership Certificate • Vehicle Registration Cancellation Certificate • Temporary Vehicle Export (Tourist Export) • Driver’s License Verification Certificate • Certificate confirming the payment of traffic contravention fines for the vehicle, driver, or commercial record • Certificate confirming the settlement of traffic accidents for the vehicle, driver, or commercial record
Service Conditions
- Valid vehicle registration (for Clearance Certificate and Temporary Tourist Export).
- Valid driver’s license (for Driver’s License Verification Certificate).
- Settlement of all fines, contraventions, and traffic accidents, if any (for Clearance Certificate, Vehicle Ownership Certificate, Vehicle Registration Cancellation Certificate, Temporary Tourist Export, Driver’s License Verification Certificate).
- No restrictions on the vehicle or owner (e.g., seizure or installment payments) – (for Clearance Certificate, Temporary Tourist Export, Driver’s License Verification Certificate).
- Payment of the prescribed fees.
Required Attachments
- Valid ID card
- Vehicle ownership certificate
- Completed licensing division form signed by the owner; for companies: attach a copy of the commercial registration, the form stamped by the company, and a letter signed and stamped by the authorized signatory.
Legal Regulations
- Law No. (23) of 2014 issuing the Traffic Law
- Ministerial Resolution No. (309) of 1998 regarding the replacement of fees for the services of the General Directorate of Traffic
- Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014 and its amendments.

- 15 : No-objection certificate for exporting any vehicle

- Choose the required certificate
- Pay the prescribed fees.
- Receive the certificate via email.
- Through the eGovernment portal

- Select Traffic Certificates
- Select Verify Traffic Certificates
- Choose the certificate type
- Choose the ID type
- Enter ID number and certificate number, then click Continue
- The certificate validity will be verified and the appropriate message will be displayed
- Book an appointment through the National Appointment System application.
- Go to the General Directorate of Traffic – Vehicle Licensing Division or one of the external service centers, ensuring required documents are provided.
- Verify that all required documents and conditions are met.
- Pay the prescribed fees.
