New Work Approval for Dependants

Through this service, employers can apply to change the (wife’s) dependent type to a work permit, as it is not possible for a wife who is on a family visa to work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, unless they change the visa from family visa to a work permit. However, if the dependant (wife) wishes to work and remain as a dependant on her family visa – she could apply for Work Approval for Dependants permit and if approved will be granted a work permit to enable her to work and keep her family permit at the same time.
