Work Permit Cancellation and Expatriate Employee Deportation

Through this service, the employer will be able to terminate the contractual relationship with the expatriate employee by applying work permit cancellation and deportation request, the status will remain valid until the expatriate employee leaves the Kingdom of Bahrain or transfers to another employer in accordance to Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) procedures.

Service Conditions

  • Expatriate employee must leave the Kingdom of Bahrain (travel) before the work permit expiry date.
  • If the expatriate employee leaves the Kingdom of Bahrain within the given time frame of the (last day of travel), the work permit will automatically be cancelled in both Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) systems as soon as he/she leaves the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • If the employer wishes to cancel the work permit for the expatriate employee having a valid work permit and out of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the employer can apply work permit cancellation and deportation request which will cancel the permit in Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) systems automatically after admin fees payment.
