Registration of students coming from abroad in private schools
Equivalency of school certificates issued outside the Kingdom of Bahrain for students applying to register in private schools and ensuring that students are registered in the correct grade depending on the equivalency certificate
Service Conditions
- The original certificate is attached to the transcript, most importantly all the documents submitted must be certified and authenticated by the following offcial authorities
- Ministry of Education seal in the country that issued the certificate. Or what replaces it (it is sufficient in academic credentials given by GCC only)
- Ministry of Foreign Affair stamp from the country where the certificate was issued, as well as the embassy or representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Certified and legal translation of foreign certificates [English to Arabic]
Required Attachments
- A copy of the passport and smart card with a valid residence of the applicant
- The original academic certificate is attached to the transcript, with the need for the submitted documents to be certified and documented by the following official authorities
- Ministry of Education seal in the country that issued the certificate. Or what replaces it (it is sufficient in academic credentials given by GCC only)
- The stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the country granting the certificate, the embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain therein or its representative, or vice versa
- Translation of foreign certificates into English or Arabic certified legal translation
- If the certificate is stamped with an apostille stamp, the application can be submitted directly without the need for the stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the embassy
- Providing the equivalency letter to the Licensesing and Follow-up of Private Schools Directorate in case that the student graduates and completes the attestation and equivalency of the Kingdom of Bahrain's high school certificat

- Personal Attendcance
- Students are admitted to the school directly, the school completes the certificate equivalency procedure through the school representative and in coordination with the Internal Examinations Section (moe). Directorate Licensing and Follow-up of Private schools must be provided the equivalency lists from the school issued by the Internal Examinations Section(moe) on a regular basis in order to audit admission and registration processes in private schools
