eCommerce Seal (eFada) System
"eCommerce Seal (eFada) system allows granting an eCommerce seal to be displayed on the eCommerce Platforms (website or mobile application) after fulfilling the registration requirements without any fees. The eCommerce seal (eFada) states that the eStore/eMarketplace is registered and active in the records of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and is authorized to practice eCommerce. This system provides the applicant with the required code to be placed in the eCommerce platform to show eCommerce Seal (eFada) on the platform. The eCommerce Seal (eFada) system was developed to simplify and improve the process of obtaining the seal by utilizing the features provided by artificial intelligence tools to enhance the user’s experience and increase the efficiency of the services provided, which will improve the performance of government services."
Service Conditions
- 1. Active Commercial Registration.
- 2. Up and running eCommerce Platform (website or mobile application) which contains the following components:
- The eCommerce platform must have a secure ePayment method.
- Availability of a Refund and Exchange policy, Terms of Use, and Data Protection policy on the eCommerce platform.
- The eCommerce platform must have an active shopping cart.
- The eCommerce platform must offer delivery service to customers.

Service Processes
- 1. From the system landing page, login using the eKey then click on "New Application".
- 2. Complete the profile details, confirm the profile information and click on “Submit”.
- 3. Click on “New Application”, then select the CR branch and click on “Submit Application”. Then agree on the eCommerce Seal (eFada) Policy.
- 4. Add the contact information and the eCommerce Platform URL, then click on “Review”, then review the entered information and click on “Apply”
- 5. The application will be reviewed by the directorate to perform the suitable action (Approve, Defect, ...).
- 6. Click on “Application Status” to obtain the seal code after the approval then click on "Details" to follow the instructions and install the code on the eCommerce Platform.
