Adding an Authorized Person

Through this service, the responsible person registered in LMRA can add authorized persons so that the establishment can be managed by them according to the level of authorization chosen by the employer.

Service Conditions

  • A maximum of 5 authorized persons are allowed to be added per establishment
  • The establishment, employer or the authorized person should not have any administrative notices preventing the addition, confirmation, or removal of an authorized person.

The level of authorization to be granted to the authorized person must be mentioned in the form:

  • Data entry and submission.
  • Bill payments and work permits printing.
  • Both.

To add an authorized person, one of the following conditions must apply:

  • The authorized person must have an official power of attorney from the responsible person and must be Bahraini.
  • The type of the power of attorney should either be:  General Power of Attorney for Acts and Management or Power of Attorney to Manage Commercial Registrations. (The power of attorney should clearly mention the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and the level of authorization (to submit, renew and cancel work permits)).
  • The authorized person must be one of the partners or authorized signatories registered in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC).
  • If the authorized person was a clearing agent, then he/ she should be registered in the Social Insurance Organization (SIO) under a clearing agency.
  • If the authorized person’s commercial registration type is Sijili then a copy of the commercial registration must be attached.
  • If the authorized person is a Bahraini employee, he must be registered in the social insurance organization under the company or one of its branches.
  • If the authorized person is an expatriate employee, his resident permit must be on the same commercial registration they are authorizing him/ her on.
