Withdrawal service from a course/courses with (W)

The student withdrawal service from a course/or courses, available via a screen in the student information management system, which is activated after the end of the Drop and refund of tuition fees period. The student can withdraw from any of the registered courses, and the symbol (W) is assigned to him/her in front of the course in his/her academic record without affecting his/her GPA. The student may withdraw from all courses in a semester, and the semester will not be counted within the maximum period of graduation from the academic program.

Service Conditions

  • The result of the withdrawal must not lead to a decrease in the number of registered hours to less than 12 credit hours, unless it is the first time, or unless the student withdraws from all courses in the semester.
  • A student enrolled in the Orientation Program may withdraw once, provided that the withdrawal is from all courses in the semester, and the semester is counted within the maximum period allowed to finish the Orientation program.
