Apply for 5th Category Request

A divorced woman, widow, or abandoned woman, as per court ruling, who does not have one or more children or a single woman who is an orphan of both parents. This category is granted temporary housing service only based on the Housing Committee’s discretion per the requirements and controls for this service.

Service Conditions

The applicant is a female
The applicant is Bahraini
She should not form a family from any of the four housing request categories, whether as the head of a basic family or as a member of any of the basic families.
She must be divorced, widowed, or abandoned by a court ruling, and does not have one or more children, or a single woman who is an orphan of both parents.
The age of the female applicant at the time when the application is being evaluated must not be less than (21) years old and not more than 60 years old. An applicant over the age of (60) years old may apply, provided her health is sufficient enough to live on her own.
The income of the female applicant at the time of submission and at the time of allocation of the request must not exceed eight hundred Bahraini dinars.
Note: Acceptance of the application is based on the recommendation of the Housing Committee

Affidavit from the Ministry of Social Development in the event of receiving social assistance
Original salary certificate, a recent sealed salary slip, or a retirement pension certificate (if any)
Medical reports (if any)
Lease contract
Any other documents or data that the directorate deems necessary to submit
