Activating the Gulf Identity Card (GCC)

This service is provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority to Gulf individuals who wish to activate their Gulf Identity Card.

Service Conditions

GCC Identity Card is valid
Original GCC Passport is valid
Address of residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain complies with the address requirements specified on the National Portal bahrain.bh.

Present a Valid GCC Identity Card
Present a Valid GCC passport
Present a proof of a residence address in the Kingdom of Bahrain that complies with the address requirements specified on the National Portal bahrain.bh

Law No. 2 of 2013 regarding the adoption of official identity cards issued by the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
