Customs Release for Cites Listed Species
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request for customs clearance of samples and species listed under the appendices of the CITES Convention at all entry points of the Kingdom of Bahrain, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements and conditions. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Required Attachments
- CITES certificate (export or re-export) from the exporting country
- CITES certificate (import) from the Supreme Council for the Environment
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Law No. 5 of 2021 regulating and controlling international trade in endangered species of wild plant and animal groups
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
