Customs Clearance for Waste Transit Movement
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request to ensure the compliance with the requirements of the international obligations related to the mechanisms and regulations for the export and import of all types of waste across borders, with the aim of fulfilling the official procedures for cross-border operations and ensuring compliance with the approved international requirements. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Having an active commercial register (for commercial use) in the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Matching the documents with the export/import license:
Required Attachments
- A duly completed application form
- A valid copy of the commercial registration CR
- Clear color photographs of the waste
- A valid invoice copies between the parties
- Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Decision No. 3 of 2006 regarding the management of hazardous waste and its amendments
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
