Customs clearance for ionizing radiation sources regulator’s approval for import/export

This service aims to inform Customs Affairs of the Supreme Council for Environments no objection on importing/exporting radioactive sources or radiation-emitting devices through ofoq system

Service Conditions

  • Having an active commercial register (for commercial use) in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Attachments

  • A copy of the invoice or the shipping statement showing a detailed shipment content
  • A copy of the technical information (technical data, catalog, pictures...) of the material(s) to be licensed
  • The importer’s license and the import permit issued by the Supreme Council for Environment for the radioactive device or source mentioned in the invoice/shipping manifest
  • End-user license and use permit issued by the Supreme Council for Environment for the radioactive device or source mentioned in the invoice/shipping manifest

Legal Regulations

  • Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it

Process Time

  • 2 Working Days : Provided that all required data and documents are received
