Request for approval of bridge plan proposals

This service is provided by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning to private sector establishments and public entities requesting initial approval of bridge plan proposals.

Required Attachments

  • An official letter addressed to the Director of Roads Projects and Maintenance Directorate
  • Bridge plan proposal

The bridges scheme proposal includes:

  • A model of the proposed bridge
  • The bridge design
  • The overall engineering of the bridge
  • The designer’s name

  • The applicant: Send an official letter attached to the proposal to the Director of the Roads Projects & Maintenance Directorate at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning
  • Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning: Review the application and send the applicant an official letter including any necessary amendments to the proposal
  • The applicant: Make the amendments to the proposal and send them to the Ministry
  • Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning: Send an official letter including an approval or rejection of the proposal
