Project management application

This service is provided by the Ministry of Works to government entities wanting the Ministry to manage and execute large, complex, and multifaceted projects. The projects are managed by the Ministry of Works from inception until completion and delivery to the beneficiary entity, including the maintenance period. The Ministry of Works provides support on the following projects: Marine and coastal engineering, Environmental projects and studies, Seaports and harbours for fishermen, Beaches, Marine canals, Reclamation and dredging, Projects related to renewable energies (wind, waves, sea currents), Airports, Hospitals, Sports complexes, Sports stadiums and Mosques

Required Attachments

  • Official letter detailing the project addressed to Minister of Works
  • Land ownership certificate
  • Survey certificate
  • Availability/approval of the Budget by the Ministry of Finance and National Economy Form (MF 1801)
  • List of project requirements and scope of work

Service Processes

  • The applicant: Send an official letter addressed to the office of the Minister of Works, accompanied by the required documents and information
  • Ministry of Works: Review the application and reply with an official letter to the applicant stating the approval or rejection
  • Ministry of Works: If approved, an official letter is sent to the applicant including the project manager assigned to manage the project.
  • Ministry of Works: Form a steering committee with the applicant, and initiate the project
  • Ministry of Works: Upon completion of the project, issue a fault liability certificate, receipt certificate, and user consent form
  • The applicant: Sign the forms and documents necessary to officially finish the project
