This service is provided by the Ministry of Works to companies wishing to obtain the Ministry’s approval of asphalt mixes before using it in government projects.

Service Processes
- Applicant: Visit Ministry of Works website to submit the request to assess the material along with all the required documents and information electronically.
- Ministry of Works: Review the application and ensure the completeness of the required documents and information.In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, the applicant is notified to complete/submit the missing documents and information.
- Ministry of Works: If the submitted documents and information are found to be complying, the applicant will be contacted by email and phone to commence with the trial mix at their premise / plant or to an approved location.
- Applicant : Conduct trial mix for the Ministry of Works evaluation
- Ministry of Works: Conduct all necessary tests including the monitoring of the pavement’s field performance, if required.
- Ministry of Works: In case of approval the proposed mix meets the requirement of the specification, sign and issue the compliance certificates. In case of rejection the proposed mix does not meet the requirement of the specification, the applicant is contacted to revisit, redesign and submit the revised mix design including relevant documents.
