Concrete Mix Design Approval Request
This service is provided by the Ministry of Works to Businesses wishing to obtain the Ministry’s approval on the concrete mixes before using it in governmental projects.

Service Processes
- Applicant: Visit Ministry of Works website to submit the request to assess the material along with all the required documents and information electronically.
- Ministry of Works: Review the application and ensure the completeness of the required documents and information and check the safety of equipment used.In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, the application will be returned to the applicant with the comments
- Ministry of Works: In case the submitted documents and information are incomplete, the applicant will be contacted by the system or email or phone to trial the mix at their premise / plant.
- Applicant: Conduct trial mix under Ministry of Works supervision.
- Ministry of Works: Conduct all necessary tests and monitor the concrete mix design.
- Ministry of Works: In case of approval, sign and issue the compliance certificates. In case of rejection, the applicant will be received rejection letter and will be contacted to provide a new mix.
- Applicant: Collect the certificate by personally attending to Ministry of Works and sign the log book.
- The applicant: submit the application electronically through the ministry’s website or the e-government website and attach all the required documents
- Ministry of Works: Review the application, ensuring that the required documents and information are completed, and verifying the quality and source of the materials used. If the required documents and information have not all been submitted, the application will be electronically returned to the applicant, with comments to be addressed
- Ministry of Works: If the required documents and information have been submitted, the applicant will be contacted by email or by phone to test the mixture at his headquarters/factory
- The applicant: Test the concrete mix under the supervision of the Ministry of Works
- Ministry of Works: Carry out the necessary analyses and tests and monitor the performance of the concrete mix
- Ministry of Work: If the application is approved, a compliance certificate valid for one year from the date of issuance is issued and signed. If the application is rejected, a rejection letter will be sent with the reasons for rejection
- The applicant: Receive the certificate or rejection letter by email or in person
- The applicant: submit the application electronically through the ministry’s website or the e-government website and attach all the required documents
- Ministry of Works: Review the application, ensuring that the required documents and information are completed, and verifying the quality and source of the materials used. If the required documents and information have not all been submitted, the application will be electronically returned to the applicant, with comments to be addressed
