Certificate of exemption from pilotage
Issuance of a certificate exempting the captain of a ship from requesting a marine pilot upon entry and exit of Bahraini ports.
Required Attachments
- Application form for obtaining a certificate of exemption from pilotage
- Copy of the Identity Card or passport
- Recent clear colour electronic photo of the candidate, with a quality not less than 600 DPI and size of 6 x 4 cm
- Certificates and qualifications
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Letter issued by the applicant company stating that the nominated person has completed the prescribed training programs and fulfilled all requirements, together with the supporting documents

Fees
- 600 BD : Issuance of a certificate of exemption from pilotage, including the practical and oral examinations
- 500 BD : Renewal of exemption from pilotage certificate
