Marine tugboat captain license
Issuance of a license for a tugboat captain, authorizing the person to tow ships for a company licensed to provide towing services in Bahraini ports.
Required Attachments
- Application form for a marine tugboat captain’s license
- Copy of the Identity Card or passport
- Certificates and qualifications
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Letter issued by the applicant company stating that the nominated person has completed the necessary training programs and fulfilled all requirements, together with the supporting documents
- Recent clear colour electronic photo of the candidate, with a quality not less than 600 DPI and size of 6 x 4 cm

- Marine tugboat captain exam (written): BD 225 per exam

- Issuance of a marine tugboat captain’s license: BD 150 per license
- Renewal of a marine tugboat captain’s license: BD 150 per license
