Permit allowing foreign ships to work on projects located in Bahraini waters.
Required Attachments
- Application form
- A letter of assignment from the project owner confirming the participation of the vessel and the contractor in the project
- A ship entry permit issued by Customs Affairs
- Business plan
- A navigational map showing the working area
- Ship and crew certificates
- Insurance certificates required for the vessel
- Recent photo of the ship
- No objection from the concerned authorities
- Dredges must obtain a license to excavate marine sands from the Agriculture and Marine Resources Agency

- General Direction No. 4: Permits for a foreign ship operating in Bahraini waters
Fees
- 100 BD : Submission of application
- 500 BD : Work permit for foreign ships
- 1000 BD : Navigation permit for foreign ships
- 100 BD per month : Extension of the validity of the navigation permit for foreign ships (for a period of less than one year)
