Hot work permit

Permission to authorize ships in Bahraini waters to conduct temporary hot work on the deck of the ship, which includes any work that produces flames, sparks, or heat, or uses an ignition source, such as welding and heat cutting

Required Attachments

  • Application form
  • Ship registration certificate
  • A copy of the hot work permit issued by the captain
  • A copy of the hot work permit issued by the facility owner, if possible

  • Article (24) of Ministerial Resolution No. (6) of 2010 regarding the executive regulations of the Law of the General Organization for Sea Ports
  • Law No. (61) of 2006 promulgating the Law of the General Organization for Sea Ports, as amended by Decree-Law No. (46) of 2012

  • Fill out the form and attach it with the required documents
  • Send to the designated directorate’s email
  • The application shall be submitted by the owner/operator of a Bahraini vessel or by the maritime agent of a foreign vessel
