Document proving the divorce and subsequent restoration
This document proves the occurrence of the divorce and the subsequent return to the spouse during the period of waiting (Iddah).
Service Conditions
- Foreign documents must be certified by the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs and translated into Arabic.
Required Attachments
- Original marriage contract
- Presence of the parties
- The original Identity Cards of the spouses

Service Processes
- Go to the website of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf https://www.moj.gov.bh and access the service entitled “forms”. Choose the relevant application form
- Print the application form, fill it out by hand, and attach the required documents
- Send the form and documents to the email of the Sharia Procedures Department : shareya.prosedures@MOJ.GOV.BH
- The applicant is contacted by phone to set a date to attend the court, in order for the process to be approved by the relevant judge
