Request for exoneration

The request for exoneration of convicts is submitted to the Major Prosecutions. The Major Prosecutions sends the request to the clerk of the Execution Judge where it is presented to the relevant judge. The Judge issues a judicial ruling to exonerate the individual, which is then sent again to the Major Prosecutions.

Required Attachments

  • Memorandum of exoneration
  • The previous convictions of the petitioner of exoneration
  • A copy of the exoneration petitioner’s Identity Card
