Apply to sit the Islamic Sharia Exam
The Islamic Sharia exam is taken by applicants in order to complete registration in the Roll of Lawyers for students who have not previously studied Islamic law.
Required Attachments
- Completed application submitted to the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf with a request to sit the Islamic Sharia exam
- Copy of the Identity Card and passport

- Decree-Law No. (39) of 1999 amending some provisions of the Advocacy Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. (26) of 1980
- Ministerial Resolution No. (5) of 1981 regarding the implementation of the Advocacy Law

Service Processes
- Submit the required documents in person or by sending them to the email of the General Registrar Office
- The relevant committee determines the date of the exam and prepares the exam questions
- A resolution is issued by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf regarding the date of the exam, which is published in the Official Gazette
- The committee delivers the exam questions to the General Registrar Office on the specified exam date
- The answer sheets are delivered to the relevant committee to determine the results
- The results are presented to the Minister of Justice for approval and exam participants are notified of their results via email
