Apply to benefit from Alimony Fund disbursement - permanent alimony
Beneficiaries subject to a judgement of alimony may apply to the Fund to obtain the adjudged amounts, after verifying that the applicant fulfils all legal requirements.
Service Conditions
The beneficiaries as defined by the law are
- The wife
- The divorcee
- The parents
- The children
- The children of Bahraini wives who do not hold Bahraini citizenship, if they permanently reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Everyone for whom alimony is due, or their legal representative
Required Attachments
- Copy of the custody and alimony ruling
- Proof of the judgments issued against the convicted party
- The conciliation agreement with the Family Reconciliation Office (if any)
- Divorce document (in case of divorce)
- Marriage certificate (in case the marital relationship continues)
- Opening of an account with Bahrain Islamic Bank (IBAN)
- Submission of a verdict certificate (in case the convicted party has served any sentence)
- Certificate from the implementation file stating continued custody, the amount of alimony, alimony late disbursements
- The forced measures taken against the convicted party, along with the results of these measures (during the last six months)
- Copy of the Identity Card of the convict, his place of residence and his workplace
- Copy of the Identity Card of the alimony recipient
- Copy of the children’s Identity Card
- Inquiry from the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs about the convicted party (in case he is outside the Kingdom)

Service Processes
- Submit the papers directly to the Alimony Fund office and proceed with the registration procedures, after verifying that all legal conditions are met
- The application is submitted to the Application Committee
- The applicant is informed of the committee’s decision
- The authorization form is submitted to the execution court for the fund to replace the applicant in the implementation file
- All required documents must be submitted at the time of application registration
