Certificate of Islam

This service involves the issuance of a certificate that confirms entry into the Islamic faith.

Service Conditions

  • Submit the form with the required documents to the email of the Sharia Procedures Department in a PDF format
  • Add a Bahraini contact number for communication purposes
  • To ensure the application has been submitted correctly, an email will be sent acknowledging receipt of the application

Required Attachments

  • Identity Card and passport of the applicant

  • Article (17) of the Judicial Authority Law issued in October 2002
  • Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization

  • The applicant is contacted by phone to set a date to attend the court, in order for the process to be approved by the relevant judge
