Permission to marry outside the Kingdom of Bahrain (for women)
This service involves the issuance of a permit for a female citizen of the Kingdom of Bahrain to marry abroad. The permit includes the woman’s marital status.
Service Conditions
- Foreign documents must be certified by the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs and translated into Arabic.
Required Attachments
- The applicant must be a Bahraini citizen
- Original work approval for Bahrain Defence Force or other security service personnel
- Copies of the Identity Cards of the applicant and her guardian
- The presence of the applicant and her guardian

- Print the application form, fill it out by hand, and attach the required documents
- In-person submission of the application by one of the spouses to the Sharia Procedures Section
