Issuance and renewal of registration cards of all kinds (lawyers, bankruptcy trustees, mediators)

Registration is renewed by persons registered by law according to the type of registration.

Legal Regulations

Decree-Law No. (26) of 1980 promulgating the Advocacy Law
Decree-Law No. (22) of 2019 regarding mediation for the settlement of disputes
Ministerial Resolution No. (12) of 2020 determining the registration fees in the brokers table and the registration renewal fees
Law No. (22) of 2018 on promulgating the Reorganization and Bankruptcy Law
Ministerial Resolution No. (71) of 2018 regulating the conditions and rules necessary for registration in the list of bankruptcy trustees in the experts list and guarantees of impartiality in the conduct of its business

Fees

Renewal fee according to the type of entry

250 : Registration in the register of trainee lawyers:
20 : renewal of registration annually.
300 : Registration in the register of practicing lawyers:
100 : renewal of registration annually
150 : renewal annually
100 : Registration in the brokers' table (natural person)
50 : Registration renewal every 3 years
200 : Registration in the brokers' register (legal person)
100 : Registration renewal every 3 years
300 : Registration in the bankruptcy trustees table (natural person)
100 : Registration renewal every two years.
300 : Registration in the Experts' Register (Bankruptcy Trustees) (Legal Person)
100 : Registration renewal every two years.

Pay the service fees to obtain a new licence through the eGovernment website portal
Submit an application in person or by sending it to the email of the General Registrar Office
The relevant employee reviews the system to ensure the registration renewal fee has been paid
The electronic registration card is sent via a link on the applicant’s phone
