Request for the issuance of the certificate of Religious Ordinance merger (munasakha)
Issuance of the certificate of Religious Ordinance merger (munasakha) service, according to which the established heirs are issued to confirm have died are removed from the legal obligations and their living heirs are included by merging more than one obligation to know the final outcome of the living heirs and the amount of their shares.
Service Conditions
- The applicant must be an heir or an official agent
- Certification of documents that have been issued outside Bahrain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country’s embassy
- Translating documents that have been issued in a language other than Arabic in an accredited translation office
Required Attachments
- Completed form requesting a Religious Ordinance document/Religious Ordinance merger
- Copies of the Religious Ordinance documents of all the deceased
- Copies of the Identity Card or passport of the deceased and their heirs
- Copy of the property document is required to merge the living heirs of the deceased, in case the Religious Ordinance pertains to property
- Copies of all concessions, gifts or bequests that has been issued to one of the heirs and which effects the other heirs’ entitlements, by increasing or decreasing their shares (if any)
- Copy of the official power of attorney for any individual who delegates their representative to submit the application

Service Processes
- Go to the website of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf https://www.moj.gov.bh and access the service entitled “forms”. Choose the relevant application form
- Print the form, fill it out by hand, and attach the required documents Send the form and attachments in one PDF file to the email: sr@moj.gov.bh
- Send the form and documents to the email of the Department of Sharia Research (Obligations): shareya.research@moj.gov.bh
- Within 5 working days, the applicant will be contacted by phone to determine the date of receipt of the Religious Ordinance merger
- On the appointed date, one of the heirs (or their official representative) shall visit the department with the original documents submitted in order to receive the Religious Ordinance merger.
- After sending the request: The auditor will be confirmed with receipt of the request and notified of the date of approving the transaction.
- When requesting a copy of the property: one of the heirs or the official representative must be present and bring the original property document on the specified date
