Transfer of ownership
Submit an application to transfer ownership according to the request of the Commercial Registration owners.
Required Attachments
In the event of transferring from a sole proprietorship to an existing company, or to become a branch of an existing company:
- A transfer decision by the owner of the sole proprietorship
- The company owner’s decision / the partners’ meeting minutes / the shareholders’ decision
- Draft amendment of the memorandum of association / articles of association / declaration of incorporation of the company
- Draft declaration of assignment of a commercial store
In the event of transferring from a company to a new sole proprietorship:
- The company owner’s decision / the partners’ meeting minutes / the shareholders’ decision to transfer
- No-objection letter to the new owner of the sole proprietorship if they are an employee in the private sector
- Draft declaration of assignment of shares or commercial premises
Legal Regulations
- The Commercial Register Law and the Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. (12) of 2001 and its amendments with the executive regulations

Service Processes
- Investor submits an application through the SIJILAT system
- The Registration Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce makes a decision regarding the application
- Publication in the Official Gazette and local newspapers
- Approval is obtained from the licensing authorities
- Memorandum of association/declaration of assignment is notarized by a notary (in some cases)
- Bank certificate is submitted (in some cases)
- Transaction fees are paid
- Amendment process is completed
