Request to cancel a trademark registration by the owner and publish the cancellation

Service Conditions

Who has the right to apply for cancellation of the registration of the mark:

• The owner of the mark (national or resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain)
• To the legal agent appointed by the owner of the mark and registered in the trademark register

• Completed cancellation request form

• Ministerial Resolution No. (13) of 2020 cancelling the fees imposed on certain services contained in the executive regulations of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC promulgated by Law No. (6) of 2014 issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (65) of 2016
• Ministerial Resolution No. (58) of 2018 regulating the registration of industrial property registration agents
• Law No. (6) of 2014 approving the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC
• Ministerial Resolution No. (80) of 2019 cancelling fees charged for certain services contained in executive regulations of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (65) of 2016 under Law No. (6) of 2014
• Law No. (3) of 2021 approving the amendment of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC
