Request to extend the construction and operation deadline period for the industrial plot

A service provided to the tenants of industrial plots if the tenant wishes to extend the deadline according to the terms of the contract to obtain a building permit, or start construction work, or start operating the factory

Service Conditions

  • Providing a valid rental contract for the industrial plot
  • Justifying the reasons behind the delay with the supporting documents

Required Attachments

  • Documents justifying the extension request, if any

  • Decree-Law No. (28) of 1999 regarding the establishment and organization of industrial zones, as amended by Decree-Law No. (26) of 2015

  • Log in to the Industrial Areas Services system service.moic.gov.bh/iad.
  • Select Construction Period Extension.
  • Fill out the application in the description box, attach the supporting documents and the revised schedule.
  • Submit the request.
