Request to amend the system or regulation for the use of a control, inspection, or collective trademark
This service enables entities that own control, inspection, or collective marks to submit an official request to amend the rules and regulations approved for the use of the mark, in line with regulatory changes, market needs, or beneficiaries.
Service Conditions
Who has the right to apply:
- The owner of the mark (national or resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain).
- The legal agent appointed by the owner of the mark and registered in the Trademark Register.
Legal Regulations
- Law No. (3) of 2021 approving the amendment of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC
- Law No. (6) of 2014 approving the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC
- Ministerial Resolution No. (13) of 2020 cancelling the fees imposed on certain services contained in the executive regulations of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC promulgated by Law No. (6) of 2014 issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (65) of 2016
- Ministerial Resolution No. (58) of 2018 regulating the registration of industrial property registration agents
- Ministerial Resolution No. (80) of 2019 cancelling fees charged for certain services contained in executive regulations of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (65) of 2016 under Law No. (6) of 2014
