Filing an application for the registration of a collective mark or a control and examination mark
Request to register a collective trademark or monitoring and inspection mark.
Required Attachments
First: Visual mark
- B. A copy of the Commercial Registration in the Kingdom of Bahrain if the owner of the mark is a Bahraini establishment or company, or a copy of the proof of practicing the profession or activity in the Kingdom of Bahrain for non-Bahraini institutions or companies.
- C. A certified official certificate translated into Arabic from the country of origin indicating the activity of the company or proof of practicing the profession or activity for non-residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain (attach the original copies of the conformity)
- D. Proof of identity of the natural person (smart card, passport or any identification documents).
- A. A copy of the mark figurative not to be less than 10x10 cm
- E. If a legal representative (a law firm or a legal agent who is a resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain and registered as a trademark registration agent in the Ministry) The authenticated power of attorney document must be translated to Arabic language and uploaded to the form, and if the (The owner of the mark is not a citizen or non-resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain appointment of legal agent or a law firm is needed).
- F. Shall be excluded from the submission of the application in the event that the application is submitted by a legal representative, and shall be content only with the properly authenticated and translated into Arabic language.
- G. If the required mark contains one or more words written in a foreign language, the applicant must submit a certified translation into Arabic
second: Non-visual mark
- A. (B), (C), (D), (E), (F) AND (G) above in the demonstration of the visual mark.
- B. Sound Mark: The musical note required to be registered must be written with a description in writing and in sound recording of the audio mark on (MP3)
- C. Sense Mark: A written description of the smell.

- Ministerial Resolution No. (80) of 2019 cancelling fees charged for certain services contained in executive regulations of the Trademarks Law (Regulation) of the GCC issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (65) of 2016 under Law No. (6) of 2014
